Quordle Extreme answers for November 5: UNITE, EDIFY, BELIE, PROUD
The Daily Quordle Extreme answers for Thursday, November 5, 2026, are UNITE, EDIFY, BELIE and PROUD. Players who want to solve the puzzle themselves can use the hints below, which cover vowel counts, repeated letters and starting letters for each of the four boards.
Quordle is a harder cousin of Wordle. Instead of guessing one hidden word, you have to crack four five-letter words at the same time within nine attempts. The Extreme version squeezes things further, and the rules are blunt about it.
Please note that you only have 8 tries!
Today’s Daily Quordle hints
The Classic daily board gives three clues, and the first one is the strongest. Every word on today’s Classic board has 0 vowels, which points players toward consonant-heavy patterns from the first guess onward.
The second clue says none of the four Classic words contains a repeated letter. That means any guess with a doubled letter can be thrown out right away, which trims the options fast.
The third clue covers starting letters, but the hint text for those boxes did not come through in the feed, so there is nothing to report there for the Classic board. The vowel and repeated-letter clues are enough to start narrowing the field.
Today’s Daily Extreme Quordle hints
The Extreme board is tighter, so its hints carry more information. The vowel counts run 3, 2, 3 and 2 across the top-left, top-right, bottom-left and bottom-right words. Players who spot a pattern early can use that to rule out guesses that do not match the count.
The repeated-letter clue is the one to watch. Three of the four Extreme words have no repeated letters. The bottom-left word has one letter repeated twice, which is the only doubled-letter pattern on the board.
The starting letters are the most direct clue of all. The top-left word begins with U, the top-right with E, the bottom-left with B and the bottom-right with P.
Once you line those clues up against the answers, they fit cleanly. UNITE has three vowels and starts with U. EDIFY has two vowels and starts with E. BELIE has three vowels, starts with B, and is the word with a repeated letter, since the E shows up twice. PROUD has two vowels and starts with P.
How to use the hints without spoiling the puzzle
The best approach is to work through the hints in order. Start with the vowel counts, because they cut the number of plausible words quickly. Then check the repeated-letter clue to see which board needs the doubled-letter treatment. Finally, use the starting letters to finish the job.
If you still have turns left, try a guess that tests the vowel pattern on several boards at once. If you are down to your last few tries, the answers are there to check your work or to get you unstuck.
Other tools mentioned in today’s guide
The guide points players to a Wordle Solver for narrowing down Quordle options. Although the tool was built for Wordle, the guide says it can still help with Quordle candidates. A separate Spelling Bee Solver is suggested for Blossom, the word game available on Merriam-Webster, which is the same place Quordle is played.
Players who prefer other word games can also check the Connections helper and the crossword answers for NYT Mini.
Other Quordle modes and past answers
Quordle has several modes beyond the Daily board. The guide also covers Quordle Chill, Quordle Sequence and the Quordle Weekly Challenge, so players who finish today’s puzzle early have more to try.
For players catching up, the guide lists Classic answers for the last seven days, starting with Wednesday, November 4, 2026, and going back through November 3, 2, 1, October 31, 30 and 29. Each day has its own answer page, so missed puzzles can be checked one at a time.
