The minister’s remarks came amidst escalating tensions in Telangana, sparked by challenges and counter-challenges between Congress and BRS over alleged irregularities in Gurukul tenders and the state’s burgeoning debt. However, BRS leaders, en route to accept the challenge, were intercepted and stopped by police, preventing the proposed confrontation and further fueling the political drama.
