Crucially, testing authorities emphasized that the published timetable serves strictly as a preliminary planning framework rather than a formal notification for individual tests, meaning official information bulletins and registration schedules will follow separately.

Engineering and Design Admissions Timeline

The entrance cycle opens in early 2027 with engineering and fashion technology admissions taking center stage. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 1 is slated for January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30, 2027. To manage operational delays or unforeseen schedule shifts, January 31 has been designated as a dedicated buffer day. Alongside engineering tests, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Examination and the SHRESHTA (NETS) examination for targeted residential education are both slated to take place on January 10, 2027.

Postgraduate Admissions and Eligibility Testing
