Marathi actor and director Subodh Bhave is the man playing Subhash Chandra Bose in Prabhas’s upcoming film ‘Fauzi’, and the glimpse of the movie has confirmed it. Director Hanu Raghavapudi selected him for the pivotal role.

The glimpse, released recently, has already set social feeds on fire. Among the scenes that drew the loudest reaction were visuals featuring historical figures Subhash Chandra Bose and Hitler. Many viewers were convinced the images had been created with AI. The reality is different. The actor who appeared as Bose is a real performer.

That detail changed the conversation fast. Fans who had been dismissing the clips as digital creations started asking who the actor was. The answer put a familiar name in front of Telugu audiences who may not have followed Marathi cinema closely.

Who is Subodh Bhave?

Subodh Bhave has built his reputation in the Marathi film industry, where he works as both an actor and a director. His presence in a big-budget Prabhas project is the kind of crossover that rarely happens without drawing attention.

His casting also gives the film a new layer of interest in Marathi film circles. Industry figures and personal contacts of Bhave have reacted with surprise and happiness after seeing him in a Prabhas film. For many of them, it is a proud moment to watch one of their own share a frame with a pan-India star.

Why the glimpse is grabbing attention

Hanu Raghavapudi is directing ‘Fauzi’, and the project has carried heavy expectations from the start. The glimpse did not disappoint those who were waiting. Powerful characters and striking visuals pushed anticipation even higher, according to the reports.

Historical elements are a big part of the curiosity. Audiences want to know how the story will handle its historical angles, and the presence of Bose and Hitler in the glimpse has raised questions about the film’s broader narrative. The reports do not reveal the storyline, so those answers will have to wait for the makers.

Social media has also become a stage for the cast and their circle. Bhave has been sharing the wishes and congratulations he has received on his platforms, turning the attention on him into a conversation about his role.

Many people first thought the visuals were made with AI, but the actor who appeared as Subhash Chandra Bose is a real actor.

That single line captures why this story spread so quickly. It is not only about a casting announcement. It is about a moment where the audience could not tell what was real, and the answer turned out to be a human performer in a major Telugu-industry production.

What comes next

Prabhas fans are now watching for the next update from the film. The glimpse has already moved ‘Fauzi’ from a name on a watchlist to a film people want to see in full. Every new detail about the cast, the characters and the story will likely face the same level of scrutiny.

For now, the main takeaway is simple. The actor behind the Subhash Chandra Bose look is Subodh Bhave, the glimpse is real and the buzz is only growing.
