MUMBAI: Parineeti Chopra is back as host of ‘Mom Talks: Maa Ki Baat Maa Ke Jazbaat’ for a second season, and the shoot has already started. The parenting talk show will stream in November on the BULLET Microdrama app and ZEE5.

Chopra says the show’s appeal comes down to one thing: honesty. She wants parenting conversations to be raw, not rehearsed, and she wants them to reach viewers who are living through the same moments.

Munaf Merchant, head of AVOD and partnerships at BULLET Microdrama, described the goal for Season 2 in clear terms. “With Season 2, we want Mom Talks to make parenting conversations easier to engage with, combining candid, playful chats with practical takeaways for young parents,” he said. “Having celebrity parents share their own experiences alongside expert perspectives allows us to bring both the personal and the informative to the forefront.”

That line tells you what the team is aiming for. The conversations are meant to feel casual and personal, but they are also supposed to leave younger parents with something they can use.

The Business Behind the Talk

The show is also a commercial bet. Azim Lalani, co-founder and chief business officer of BULLET Microdrama and Trinetra AI, pointed to the first season as proof of concept.

“The first season demonstrated the potential of parenting-led content to create value for both audiences and brand partners,” Lalani said. “Season 2 gives us an opportunity to deepen these partnerships and build on the show’s growing momentum.”

In plain terms, the first run showed that parenting conversations can draw audiences and advertisers at the same time. Season 2 is the test of whether that interest holds.
