Hyderabad Weekly Bus Pass at Rs 600 Unlimited City Rides

IN SHORTTGSRTC launches a Rs 600 weekly bus pass for unlimited Hyderabad city bus rides, including AC buses, over seven days. Sold at all city bus pass counters.

TGSRTC launches Rs 600 weekly bus pass for Hyderabad commuters

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has launched a Rs 600 Weekly Bus Pass that lets riders travel unlimited on city buses across Greater Hyderabad for seven days. The announcement was made on October 25, 2026.

The pass is valid for seven consecutive days starting from the day it is bought. Once a rider has it, there is no need to buy a ticket for every trip made during that week.

Where the pass works

The pass covers all types of city buses within Greater Hyderabad, including AC buses. The one exception is the Pushpak Airport Liner service. TGSRTC has made it clear that the pass does not apply to that route.

Passengers can buy the pass at any city bus pass counter in the city. Anyone who needs one can visit the counter nearest to them.

Who it is designed for

TGSRTC says the pass is aimed at people who travel daily, as well as tourists and business visitors who stay in the city for a short time. For someone who needs to move around Hyderabad every day for a week, a single purchase covers the whole stretch.

The corporation already offers a daily pass and a monthly pass. The weekly option fills the gap between those two, giving travelers a cheaper and more flexible choice for a short period.

Why TGSRTC made the move

The corporation wants more people to use public transport. By cutting the cost burden on passengers and making travel easier, TGSRTC hopes to attract commuters who might otherwise rely on private vehicles or other options.

This is a state-run corporation making a direct change to how Hyderabad residents and visitors pay for their daily travel. For Telangana, it is a clear sign that the state’s public transport network is trying to become more affordable for everyday riders.

TGSRTC Vice Chairman and Managing Director Y. Nagi Reddy explained the reasoning behind the decision. He said the aim is to encourage greater use of the public transport system and to offer better, affordable travel services to city commuters.

We urge everyone who travels within Hyderabad for a week to make use of this Rs 600 weekly bus pass facility.

That appeal is the core of the launch. The pass gives weekly travelers a fixed price that covers every city bus ride within the period, with no need to think about tickets trip by trip.

What riders should know before buying

The pass starts counting from the day of purchase, so timing matters. A rider who buys it on a given day will have it until the seventh consecutive day.

The pass is not valid on Pushpak Airport Liner services. Anyone planning to use that route to reach the airport will still need to buy the appropriate ticket for it.

The launch adds one more option to Hyderabad’s transit menu. Commuters who travel every day may still find a monthly pass better value over time, while occasional visitors and short-stay business travelers now have a simple weekly choice that suits their schedules.
