Under this process, 100 percent of the convener quota seats in all government nursing colleges will be filled through this centralized admission drive. Additionally, 60 percent of Category ‘A’ convener quota seats in private minority and non-minority nursing colleges throughout Andhra Pradesh will be allocated through this merit-driven process.

Eligibility Criteria and Academic Requirements

Candidates aspiring to secure a seat in the professional nursing program must have appeared for the NEET-UG 2026 entrance exam. To be eligible, applicants must have completed their Intermediate (10+2) education with core subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Candidates belonging to the Open Category (OC) must have secured at least 45 percent aggregate marks in their core science subjects. Candidates from BC, SC, and ST categories are required to have a minimum of 40 percent marks in science subjects. Regarding age eligibility, applicants must complete 17 years of age by December 31, 2026. The university has clarified that there is no upper age limit for applying to this course.

Application Timeline, Fees, and Document Uploads

The online registration window opened on September 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM and will remain operational until September 16, 2026, closing at 7:00 PM. Interested candidates must complete their applications on the official web portal within this stipulated timeframe. The application fee is set at Rs. 2,500 for OC category candidates, while candidates from BC, SC, and ST categories must pay a reduced fee of Rs. 2,000.

Applicants are strictly required to upload scanned copies of their original certificates at the time of online application submission. Essential documents include proofs of educational qualifications, date of birth, caste certificates, and residence proof. The university emphasized that applications containing incomplete details or unclear document scans will be rejected without further notice.

"Students should continuously monitor the official website drntr.uhsap.in until the completion of the admission process," stated Registrar Dr. T. Sai Sudheer.

Merit List and Web Counselling Process

Following the successful submission and thorough verification of uploaded original documents, Dr. NTRUHS will publish the official merit list. Subsequently, the detailed schedule for web-based counselling will be announced.
